Why Is The Belfast Telegraph in Decline?

Maybe it has something to do with its obsession with celebrities like Christine Bleakley and Rory McIlroy. Not to mention employing the worlds worst newspaper columnist Gail Walker. Or it could be its rubbish political coverage. It could have something to do with its printing of bogus opinion polls. And of course there is also its delivery service which is terrible. All I can say is if it continues like this lets hope the decline is terminal.

    Your point about bogus opinion polls is particularly apropos. What is bizarre, though, is seeing some Unionists claiming that the paper is not partisan enough. Is that even possible?!

    Yeah I know if anything it has got even more anti-nationalist down the years. Short of poaching Ian Paisley as a columnist from the Newsletter what more could it do?
